OLDENBURG - When astronomers research the formation of stars and planetary systems or examine the center of the Milky Way, they are particularly interested in the infrared radiation emitted by celestial bodies.
The light, which is invisible to humans, allows us to see dust-filled regions of space and provides information about stars with little light that would otherwise be outshone.
